WATL League Rules & Format

Official Individual Competition As Seen On ESPN

HOW IT WORKS
League Season is 8 weeks. For the first 7 weeks of competition, each player(team) will play 4 matches. Our Officials will monitor and score each throw. Although you will be throwing against an opponent – wins and losses do not matter in the first 7 weeks. Scores are accumulated and totaled each week. After the 7th week is completed, all players will be seeded according to their cumulative personal score for a double elimination bracket tournament.

WEEKLY LEAGUE PLAY
Grizzly League play is every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 7pm. You will choose one of the days to come in and throw your axe. If you join late or miss a week, you are able to make up your missed throws for up to 2 weeks. In the event that a player has missed 3 or more weeks, they are no longer eligible for playoffs per WATL rules. You may show up early (after 6:00 P.M.) and are allowed warm-up and practice throws (free of charge) which must be completed by 7:00 P.M. League play starts promptly at 7:00 P.M.

AXES 
Players may use house axes or bring their own axe as long as it meets WATL league guidelines.

League members receive 20% off the hourly rate every time he/she comes in to practice (group rates do not apply)

If a league member brings friends, they receive 10% discount on the hourly rate (group rates do not apply)
